Marks is the coded name
that he had chosen to be called if he is ever caught by surprise in someone
houses. The name remains him of comic book writer Mark Miller. That is what he
thinks, he does not remember. He wished he chose the name Miller because it makes
more sense. People would call him Mr. Miller. But he feels that it is too late.
It is too much for him to choice different names and to change them all of the
time. So Mark is the name and it ain't going anywhere.
The house that is about
to enter is old and he has seen it forever. He knew that no one will suspect
its him. The van is from outer state and he is dressed like a professional
mover. The outfit is great for him. It has been a great cover story that he
knew would work. The places has car garage and it would be great for him to get
as much stuff as possible before being hurried to leave.
He decides to enter
the house from the window open in the third floor. The house has nice steps
that make it easy for to climb to the third floor. The window has been open for
the past few days. He knew that no one would bother him. He stuff himself
inside through the window and enters into the dark room that seems to be empty.
He planned to use the flashlight that is on his head as soon as he gets inside.
Upon stepping through the window frame, the window shut off. He steps away from
the window and a heavy steel curtains covers all windows in the room.
A line of lights turn on and off just like a
wave to show the length of the floor of the hallway. As he saw the depth of the
hallway, he became confused. He knew the floor plan for house similar to this
one. The length of the hallway had to be an illusion. He knew something is not
right. He looked back at the steel curtain and it seems like it had blocked his
exit.
Without warning he heard
from inside his head the sound and the words "Player 2 has entered the
game" echo around the space. As the light wave continued to go in the
distance of football field he saw a man with gun. The man with the gun made eye
contact. Immediately, Mark tried to hide. The man with the gun began running
into the darkness with his gun pointing towards Mark.
Mark rushes toward the
window and he tried to knock it so that someone would hear. He looks back into
the hallway and he does not see anything because of the darkness. He is afraid
to turn on the light. He does not know the length of the space. He knew that he
was in the hallway but he did not see anything expect the man. Should go right
or left was the only thing that was in his mind. If either of choices was not
relevant at this moment.
